Ayurveda, Yoga & Mindfulness

The term "Ayurveda" is a Sanskrit word which is translated literally into "The Knowledge of Life". It is a preventative science and a way of living to bring wholesomeness into one's existence.
Ayurveda's definition of health, is a state, where mind, senses and the consciousness harmoniously interact to experience wellness, bliss and one's True Self.
Ayurveda is not only limited to herbal medicines and massages. At its core, Ayurveda is a way of Life that syncs us up with our original inner nature with far reaching benefits not only with physical health but also with mental and physical health. According to Ayurvedic Philosophy, the entire Universe including the human body is made up of Pancha Maha-bhootha (five basic elements) - Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Aether. The Pancha Maha-bhootha interrelate with each other to form the three Dosha (fundamental bodily Bio-elements). These together constitute the human body.
The three Bio-elements are found in varying proportion in every individual making each body type unique, a knowledge which is similar to today's modern personalised medicine.
A healthy body is the one in which the proportion of the Three Bio-elements (doshas) are in equilibrium.
Accoring to Ayurveda, there is no such thing as disease. In simple terms, imbalance between three Doshas is what manifests as disease. External elements such as changing seasons and microbiomes have an impact on individuals internal state causing imbalance of bio-elements, what we call disease.
The food and the natural supplements are also made up of the Pancha Maha-bhootha or the Five elements and again has its own combination of Doshas. By identifying an individuals body type and his/her imbalance, natural remedies are prescribed using appropriate food and supplements to neutralise the imbalanced Dosha. Therefore each Ayurvedic treatment is compellingly personalised and unique.

Yes, you can take personalised consultation for either of these services. If you are looking for diet and lifestyle advice or consultation for discomforts, you can only opt for Ayurveda. If you are a beginner to Yoga and would like to learn more about authentic Yoga including philosophy, breathing and physical poses you can book for one-on-one Yoga consultations.

If you want to learn only about mindfulness and its applications in everyday life you can book for personalised mindfulness consultation too. You can mix and match also, and we can work out a good deal for you both in terms of price and benefits.
Of course, that is fine. If you are pretty Self-Aware already and are keen to add more personal effectiveness tools to your tool-belt, give us a shout. We are all ears. We can work on all the aspects from getting clarity of what you want to how to get stuff done in the real world, with confidence, grace and ease.

We do request to pay 50% fees upfront to confirm the one-to-one appointments to cover our overheads.
In the case of one-to-one Consultations, You have to give us 48 hours notice to get a refund of the 50% fees. The refund only applies to individual consultations. For corporate programmes and wellness packages, different policies apply.
