Privacy policy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to let you know what kinds of information Sukhaatma may gather about you, how we may use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding our use of the data.

  1. Personal data, or personal information as we sometimes call it, means data which is capable of identifying a living person. When placing a booking or attending drop-in sessions with us, you must provide us with your name, address, age, email address, phone number and payment information. When booking Yoga classes with us, you might also have to provide us details about any injuries and health issues you have.

  2. All the personal and confidential data collected are only to provide personalised services that are for the own safety and well-being of the practitioner. Sukhaatma does not share any of your given information with any third party. We do encryption where appropriate to store your personal information. We never store any of your payment information, when you make purchases on our site.

  3. Complying with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to be forgotten - meaning you can write to us anytime to remove all of your information from our records. You can do this online if you have created a user account with us online. We store your data as long as you consume the services from Sukhaatma. After a two year period of inactivity, we will automatically remove your records from our database.

  4. Cookies are small files which, depending on your browser settings, may be automatically stored on your computer's hard drive when your Web browser accesses a specific Web page. If we use cookies, you may find that you are not able to purchase on or use the Sukhaatma site functionality entirely, if your browser is set to reject cookies. We do not track your online activity using the cookies we set.

  5. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to guard against unauthorised or unlawful processing of your personal data and accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, your personal data. While no computer system is completely secure, we believe the measures implemented by us reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved. We have security measures in place to protect our user database. However, it remains your responsibility to exercise discretion while using our site not to reveal sensitive information from your end.

  6. We will retain your personal data only as long as is necessary for the purposes to which you consent under your agreement(s) with this Privacy Policy, or as is required by applicable law, and then we will delete it.

  7. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time, so please check this page regularly.

  8. If you have any questions about the handling or protection of your personal data, a written enquiry should be addressed to us by email to info@sukhaatma.co.uk
